I am...Alaina Ross.

I am...a mom to two fabulous boys who have been an inspiration to me and the reason I fell in love with my camera.  As a mother, I know how precious and fleeting those first moments are and how important it is to document this extraordinary time.  Trust me, my boys are grown now and I don't know how or when that happened.

I am...a wife to my darling husband.  He supports me like no other - even when I suggest moving the living room furniture a few times a month so I can set up a photo studio in our house.  (UPDATE:  We built an addition onto our house so I can have a dedicated studio space for my business!)

I am...a baby addict!  I love their smell, their cry, their tiny toes, the way they turn their heads when they hear their mama's voice, the dimples on their hands...I could go on and on.  Is there a 12-step program for this type of obsession? =)

I am...an internationally published Maternity and Newborn Photographer located in Crescent City, CA and serving Del Norte, Humboldt and Curry counties.  I have taken several courses in newborn posing and safety and I'm interested in making this an enjoyable experience for you and your beloved baby.  My style is pure and natural in order to give you timeless, classic portraits.  I view it as an honor and a privilege to be included in such a special event in your life.
